Immersive Narratives of the Chinese Twenty-Four Solar Terms
I explored the intersection of traditional Chinese culture and modern technology through immersive storytelling experiences.
Developed a digital and interactive display of the twenty-four solar terms and Song Dynastyp aintings, allowing viewers to experience the changing seasons and enhance awareness of climate change.
Use TouchDesigner to create a generative and non-linear representation of the changing seasons. Use dynamic projection mapping to bring traditional art to life. Integrate audience interaction to modify visuals based on real-time input.
Demonstrated a new way to digitally interpret the traditional Chinese calendar. Enhance audience engagement with interactive visualizations of abstract climate patterns.
